Welcome to my delectable world of Pakistani Food where you
will come across some amazing dishes that will bring the aromatic flavours of
Pakistan to your homes.
Through this blog, I will be discussing, evaluating and comparing my own Pakistani family recipes to selected cookbooks and articles. I will also be reminiscing about my family recipes and the stories that are attached with them. Whether it’s my grandma, mother, father, aunt or uncle, there are such interesting stories behind their food. This is because in my family, ways to cook certain foods has been passed down from generation to generation. So it’s that, and the fact that they are also able to put together new recipes from whatever they found in the cupboards! Or the time when cooking Kheer (rice pudding) the milk boiled over, making a huge mess! Or the time when the Aloo Chaat (Chickpea Salad) was so tasty that it finished before the guests even arrived!

Being a member of my family, I want to be able to cook as well as they do. And if that requires me to analyse how my family recipes are different from others, so be it!
